DESCRIPTION:On exhibition for One Day Only\, see this collection of handmade vintage and antique quilts. Each quilt has a story and some are over 100 years old. Most of them are made by ancestors of Georgia Salzburgers still living in this area of Georgia and have been passed down through at least 3 generations. Many of the quilt owners will be helping with the exhibit and available to comment or describe the quilt patterns and process. This will prove to be a very unique opportunity for those who appreciate vintage fabrics and heritage quilting.....or just the value of skills needed to create beautiful and functional handwork.
